Hamiller is built to be sunk into rather than sat on. The seat runs 117cm deep and holds its height the whole way along, so a room reads as one low horizon and the light from the window travels the length of it uninterrupted. Underneath, a slim rose gold band catches that same light at floor level and leaves the mass above it looking weightless.
